The purpose of the MO HealthNet program is to provide medical services to persons who meet certain eligibility requirements as determined by FSD. The goals of the MO HealthNet program are to promote good health, to prevent illness and premature death, to correct or limit disability, to treat illness, and to provide rehabilitation to persons with disabilities. Eligible persons receive a "MO HealthNet Identification Card" or a letter from the local FSD office. The Family Support Division (FSD) determines client eligibility for the MO HealthNet program: the MO HealthNet Division administers the MO HealthNet program including establishment of benefit coverage, rates, claims processing, and all other aspects of daily operations.

• General public can apply for assistance starting December 1 through May 31, or until funds are depleted whichever comes first.

Offers family support, benefits navigation support, resources, referrals, workshops and education for caregivers of individuals with Down Syndrome.

Provides emergency assistance to people in crisis; addresses the causes of poverty through programs that fight unemployment, inadequate housing, poor nutrition and lack of educational opportunity and provides training in advocacy skills. Connects seniors to resources to assist with maintaining independent living.

Utility Assistance: Provides assistance to low-income individuals for propane, wood and natural gas assistance. Partial payments are made to avoid utility cut-offs.

Provides girls opportunities to develop their potential and have fun with their peers in a supportive, all-girl setting. Girls gain a strong sense of self, positive values, healthy relationship skills, challenge-seeking behaviors, and community problem-solving abilities. Combined these attributes support personal and academic success as well as girls' health and well-being.

Crisis Hotline: Provides 24-hour telephone crisis intervention for victims and families concerning sexual violence.

Accepts a variety of donations that are not in need of repair; donations are not sold as a way to earn money for the program; a donation pick-up service is not available.
