The purpose of the MO HealthNet program is to provide medical services to persons who meet certain eligibility requirements as determined by FSD. The goals of the MO HealthNet program are to promote good health, to prevent illness and premature death, to correct or limit disability, to treat illness, and to provide rehabilitation to persons with disabilities. Eligible persons receive a "MO HealthNet Identification Card" or a letter from the local FSD office. The Family Support Division (FSD) determines client eligibility for the MO HealthNet program: the MO HealthNet Division administers the MO HealthNet program including establishment of benefit coverage, rates, claims processing, and all other aspects of daily operations.

The Child Care Subsidy Program: Helps eligible parents with the cost of child care while they are working or trying to gain employment.

Prepared Childbirth Class: Expectant parents learn about labor and delivery and decrease anxiety over the process. Topics include signs of labor, what to expect during labor and delivery, breathing and relaxation techniques, variations of labor and delivery and more.

Southside Youth Council: program for teenagers who are interested in learning about the St. Louis region. Activities include weekly discussions, field trips, planning small fundraisers and more.

Utility Assistance: Provides assistance to low-income individuals for water bill assistance. Partial payments are made to avoid utility cut-offs.

Provides medical equipment.

Provides employee assistance program for federal workers. Services include are financial and legal information, education funding, retirement planning and more.

Provides local law enforcement.

Local legal aid providers and pro bono attornerys will be available to help with the following: Assistance securing FEMA and other government benefits available to disaster victims Assistance with life, medical and property insurance claims Help with home repair contracts and contractors Replacement of wills and other important legal documents lost or destroyed in the disaster Consumer protections such as price-gouging and avoiding contractor scams in the rebuilding process Counseling on mortgage-foreclosure problems and landlord-tenant problems

Provides immunizations, blood draws and PT (Prothrombin Time)/INR (International Normalized Ratio).

Provides several book discussion clubs.

Program provides reproductive health care to women of child-bearing age. Services include: birth control methods, pregnancy testing, complete physical exams, Pap smears, breast exams, screening for anemia, cholesterol, diabetes and bladder infections, screening and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases and vaginal infections, education and referral for HIV testing, and sexuality education.

Free in-person assistance to people who are interested in applying to or finding out more about the Health Insurance Marketplace.

Sponsors specialized aquatic programs and activities for children, adults and senior citizens, such as aerobics and swim lessons. Inclusion services departments works with individuals to provide integrated fitness programs for people with developmental disabilities.
