The Children's Division Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline Unit (CA/NHU) accepts confidential reports of suspected child abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Reports are received through a toll-free telephone line which is answered seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Any person may report, and anonymous reports are accepted from individuals who are not mandated by occupation to report. Calls of concern can be made to each county office. Instructions may be given for the reporter to call the toll free number of the CA/NHU for the call to be made into a formal report.

School to Work: Provides high school students with disabilities the skills and work experience to prepare them for employment and service linkages after graduation. This service includes job placement services.

Food Pantry: A supplement food pantry providing food items for those in need. The entrance to the Food Pantry is located in the rear of the church building and is identified by a sign.

Offers bingo, bridge, crafts, games, travel, pinochle, exercise class, book club, writing groups, health fair, health education programs and various topical speaker presentations.

Certified birth and death certificates can be obtained on a daily basis if the event happened in the State of Missouri.

Assistance in preparing Property Tax Rebate (partial or full rebate on paid real estate taxes) forms.

Program provides reproductive health care to women of child-bearing age. Services include: birth control methods, pregnancy testing, complete physical exams, Pap smears, breast exams, screening for anemia, cholesterol, diabetes and bladder infections, screening and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases and vaginal infections, education and referral for HIV testing, and sexuality education. Service is provided at the Madison County Health Department at 806 West College in Fredericktown.

Employment services supports the job applicant in refining the tools needed to obtain and maintain employment- employment preparation and job development. Through career counseling, a balance is promoted between the personal, social and vocational aspects of life. Individualized instruction facilitates the matching of interests, skills and experiences with employer needs. Program length is determined by individual need.

MO HealthNet (Medicaid) Program: Provides medical services to persons who meet certain eligibility requirements as determined by FSD. MO HealthNet Division administers the MO HealthNet program including establishment of benefit coverage, rates, claims processing, and all other aspects of daily operations.
