The Hamsa Wellness Community (formerly Sharsharet Supports STL) is a cancer support community at the J serving individuals with a cancer diagnosis—especially those with breast and ovarian cancer—regardless of where they are in their cancer journey. We also educate individuals regarding hereditary cancer risks—especially women and men of Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry, who have an increased risk of carrying a hereditary cancer gene mutation.

MoRx: pays for 50% of members' out of pocket costs remaining after their Medicare Prescription Drug Plan pays. Extra help with paying for Medicare Part D costs is available from the Social Security Administration (SSA) for individuals with low income and limited assets. All dual eligibles automatically qualify for the extra help in paying for their premiums and co-pays.

Prescription Drug Program: Working with Rx Outreach provides a 90 to 180 day renewable prescription is submitted through our 143 participating parish conferences, based on prescriptions written by physician, clinic or hospital. Vouchers are mailed and Rx is mailed to clients.

Vital Records - Death Certificates: Provides certified copies of death certificates.

Provides free or reduced-cost pap tests for eligible Missouri women.

Provides information about the COVID-19 Vaccine

Wellness Program: Provides laboratory services blood work ordered by client's physician, weight and blood pressure screenings and nutrition counseling by registered dietitians.

Working Resolutions and Possibilities: An alternative to out of school suspension for youth who have been suspended from school attend programs at the center including tutoring, drug awareness, job training, anger awareness and fitness programs.

Provides information about applying for state and local health insurance programs.

Responsible for management of wildlife resources.

24-Hour Helpline: Immediate access to trauma-informed crisis intervention, solution-focused counseling, and targeted resource referrals for families, provided by a trained professional.

Accepts donations of baby clothing and diapers.

Transitional housing program for Callaway County, Missouri families. Provides supportive, resource-based program that allows for12 weeks of transitional housing for families with custodial children. CAPACITY 4 Family Bedrooms

Foster/Adoptive Services: Provides foster/adoptive services and services for crisis pregnancy, referrals for residential placement and therapeutic foster care for children in state custody, training for potential foster and adoptive parents of special needs children.

Provides various arts and crafts activities and exercise groups and equipment.

Academic Training/Basic Competencies: Prepare youth to obtain a GED through local schools and community colleges.
