The Children's Division actively seeks individuals and couples who are willing to become foster parents for the children in the State's custody. Prospective foster parents take a total of 27 hours of training on five competencies necessary to work with the children in CD custody and their families.

Psychiatric Inpatient Unit: Therapeutic treatment program includes cognitive and dialectical behavior therapies, couples and family therapy, individual counseling, medication management, motivational enhancement, pain management, parenting training, supportive listening and problem solving. Regularly scheduled meetings are held with a psychiatrist and a social worker to discuss follow-up plans and discharge arrangements.

Show Me Healthy Women: Provides free or reduced-cost pap tests to eligible Missouri women.

Energy Assistance provides financial assistance to help pay primary fuel source heating and cooling bills.

Utility Assistance: Provides assistance to low-income individuals for gas bill assistance. Partial payments are made to avoid utility cut-offs. Individuals must attend a class called Saving on Your Utility Bill to qualify for assistance.
