MoRx was created by the 93rd General Assembly to coordinate benefits with Medicare's (Part D) Prescription Drug Program, and to provide additional assistance for prescription drug costs to Missourians in need. MoRx pays for 50% of members' out of pocket costs remaining after their Medicare Prescription Drug Plan pays. It pays for 50% of the deductible, 50% of the co-pays before the coverage gap, 50% of the coverage gap, and 50% of co-pays in the catastrophic coverage. MoRx does not pay for the Medicare Part D Plan's monthly premium. MoRx uses the formulary of the Medicare Prescription Drug Plans. Any drug covered by a member's Medicare Drug Plan will also be covered by the MoRx plan. MoRx works with all Medicare Prescription Drug Plans. Dual eligible members will continue to have coverage for Medicare-excluded drugs through MO HealthNet. Medicare-excluded drugs include specific over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, minerals, limited cough and cold drugs, benzodiazepines and barbiturates as they are currently covered by MO HealthNet, as noted on the MO HealthNet Division Pharmacy pages. Extra help with paying for Medicare Part D costs is available from the Social Security Administration (SSA) for individuals with low income and limited assets. All dual eligibles automatically qualify for the extra help in paying for their premiums and co-pays. Other individuals may submit an application for extra help to the SSA.

Provides free or reduced-cost mammograms, breast exams and pap tests to eligible Missouri women.

Provides required immunizations for all ages; also provides flu shot clinics.

This program is responsible for inspecting: food establishments, private water and sewage, septic systems, day care inspections, daily incoming complaints, and other environmental health issues.

Provides monthly cash retirement benefits under the Social Security Retirement Benefits program.

Pediatricians and pediatric nurse practitioners provides preventative care as well as the treatment of both acute and chronic conditions in adolescents, services include immunizations.

Accepting food donations (perishable and non-perishable items).

Provides supplies to meet the basic needs of children and infants, including diapers and wipes.

General and pediatric dental services and family and pediatric medical services.

Northside Computer Center: Offers tutoring program to help children improve language and math skills. Children are usually members of after-school program.

Offering Worship Services and Sunday School and other faith based ministries.

Tuberculosis screening available.

SNAP (food Stamps) provides a monthly benefit to help individuals and families buy food and food products, such as seeds, and plants to grow food. This is a monthly benefit and is loaded to an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card.

Interim and/or Emergency Veterans' Assistance: Assists with rent payments to avoid eviction.

Services offered through the Senior Centers include noon-time congregate meals, home-delivered meals to surrounding communities, social, recreational, and educational activities.

Outpatient substance abuse counseling is available including day treatment. Outpatient services for adolescents is provided. Length of stay is based on progress.

Clinically-supervised halfway house for veterans; offers recovery support services, counseling and meetings.

Provides medical social work.

Providing Breakfast and Lunch to children and youth.

Providing in-house dermatology surgeries, lab tests and family medicine services.

Services are offered for children and parents involved in the adoption process. These include the evaluation of the child's needs prior to placement, and arrangements for care of the child prior to the child's adoptive placement and to the approval of the adoptive family. Also, special activities are provided to help adoptive parents and children adjust to the new family situation.

Calhoun County Legal Self-Help Center provides legal information such as individuals legal rights and responsibilities, instructions on how to handle common legal problems, assistance with some legal documents and forms, and referrals to free and low-cost legal services. The Center does not provide legal advice. Instead, it offers information on such topics as instructions for available forms, answers to general legal questions, and information on court procedures.

Provides aquatic classes such as aerobics and swim lessons. Inclusion services department works with individuals to provide integrated fitness programs for people with developmental disabilities.

Provides a public library

Providing individualized supports to individuals with varying levels of need according to a person-centered plan for 24 hours. Group residences with private and semi-private bedrooms are available with access to a spacious living room, dining room, kitchen, and family room.
