The purpose of the MO HealthNet program is to provide medical services to persons who meet certain eligibility requirements as determined by FSD. The goals of the MO HealthNet program are to promote good health, to prevent illness and premature death, to correct or limit disability, to treat illness, and to provide rehabilitation to persons with disabilities. Eligible persons receive a "MO HealthNet Identification Card" or a letter from the local FSD office. The Family Support Division (FSD) determines client eligibility for the MO HealthNet program: the MO HealthNet Division administers the MO HealthNet program including establishment of benefit coverage, rates, claims processing, and all other aspects of daily operations.

Our program works with individuals and groups in the community to help them adopt healthy behaviors and/or reduce health risks, increase self-care skills, improve management of common minor ailments, and use health care services effectively.

The Blind Pension program was established in 1921 and is financed entirely by state funds. This program provides assistance for blind persons who do not qualify under the Supplemental Aid to the Blind law and who are not eligible for Supplemental Security Income benefits. Each eligible person receives a monthly cash grant of $541, as well as state funded medical assistance.

Parents who are seeking to regain custody of their children, or who are in need of supervised visitation with their children, may access the services of the Children's Division through a court order from the county/state of the custody's jurisdiction. Visitation will be arranged per the conditions of the court order. These services are also available to families who are involved in child abuse/neglect investigations and subsequent court rulings.

Operates as the Police for Albers, Illinois responsible for protecting lives and property.

Provides therapy services, including speech/language, occupational, physical and special instruction, given to children showing developmental delays. Therapy is play-based and occurs at home, day care, other community settings, and at the Center.

Offers support to individuals with disabilities needing assistance with monitoring mediations, personal care, meal planning and more. Support may be provided only a few hours a month or 24 hours a day, depending on need. Supportive services may be provided in an individual's home or family members home, a supported living residency or other types of living arrangements.

Disaster Preparedness and Response: Works with local parishes and community groups to develop Emergency Response Plans to help them be better prepared to know how to respond when disaster strikes.

Family-centered Services are provided to families and children in their own homes when a child abuse or neglect investigation/family assessment response determination is preponderance of evidence, unsubstantiated-preventive services indicated, or services needed. These services are also provided to families who voluntarily seek help. Family-centered Services include a range of treatment and support services and are provided, as appropriate to the case treatment plan.

Individuals or families needing to place their child(ren) into foster care should contact the office to discuss options. Also receives and reviews applications for families who would like to adopt or foster a child(ren)

Hope Blooms: A community-based breast cancer support group offers an opportunity for women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer to express their physical and emotional needs with others who have had similar experiences.

Offers listening and language therapy to children birth through high school in the convenience of their home or school.

Recreational facility containing the following: pool, playground, tennis courts, ball fields, gymnasium, stage, boxing room, computer system and a multi-purpose room.

This program helps detect breast & cervical cancers in their earliest stages when they are easiest to treat. Free mammograms & pap tests will be provided to women who meet income and age requirements. Other services for women are offered at this sight.
