Family Planning Clinic: Provides OB/GYN services.

Services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy and early childhood education

Offers broad range of information: topics include nutrition, business, personal budgeting, gardening, babysitting, 4-H youth, etc. Speakers available. If they don't have a specialist in their area, they work with other extension offices to find the program.

Assists people enroll in health insurance policies.

Provides one-on-one tutoring to help adult improve their reading and writing skills; after assessments determine a person's baseline skill level, a tutor-learner match and learning plans are made; periodic assessments measure progress throughout the year.

The Missouri Work Assistance Program (Welfare to Work): Participants are provided with vocational counseling, job readiness training, job placement assistance and supportive services.

Offers a program that is designed to help the trainee gain specific skills necessary to meet the requirements of competitive employment. Trainees receive one-on-one support to learn and identify compensatory strategies to improve job success.

Early Head Start: Offers early education, health, mental health, nutrition and social services.

• Warm Neighbors Cool Friends Program: A matching-fund program will match up to $350 on gas bills to income eligible seniors and disabled individuals living in Madison County, Illinois. Bill must not exceed $1,000.00

• Client Services Department: Program assists with gas bills to individuals living in Alton, Bethalto, Cottage Hills, East Alton, Godfrey, Hartford, Meadowbrook, Moro, Roxana, South Roxana and Wood River, Illinois. Bill must not exceed $1,000.00

Juvenile Court office for Newton and McDonald counties; the office has jurisdiction over children needing protective services and those accused of violating state or municipal law; also hears adoption cases.

Provides occupational therapy services.

Provides electric assistance to clients. Dollar amount of utility payment assistance under this program is based on eligibility requirements and number of members in household.

General medical care for infants, children and adolescents.

Head Start is a federal program for preschool children from low-income families. Children receive educational activities, medical care, dental care, healthy meals & snacks.

Primary care for every family member, services include treatment for colds, flus, infections, high blood pressure, diabetes, wellness visits (immunizations, shots, cancer testing), work, school and sports physicals, DOT and other physicals, women's health (Pap smears, breast exams, STD testing/treatment), pregnancy care and family planning services, minor procedures, weight management, management of diabetes and high blood pressure, child health (pediatrics and adolescent care).

Serves as a high school for students entering grades 9-12.

Volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates: Community advocates work with children in foster care and gathering information to assist the judge in making decisions for children in finding safe, permanent home in a timely manner.

Health screenings are provided for the following: Cardiovascular, Sexually Transmitted Diseases and HIV, Diabetes, Lead, and tuberculosis. Other screenings available upon request.
