The purpose of the MO HealthNet program is to provide medical services to persons who meet certain eligibility requirements as determined by FSD. The goals of the MO HealthNet program are to promote good health, to prevent illness and premature death, to correct or limit disability, to treat illness, and to provide rehabilitation to persons with disabilities. Eligible persons receive a "MO HealthNet Identification Card" or a letter from the local FSD office. The Family Support Division (FSD) determines client eligibility for the MO HealthNet program: the MO HealthNet Division administers the MO HealthNet program including establishment of benefit coverage, rates, claims processing, and all other aspects of daily operations.

Provides 24-hour crisis intervention hotline to offer advocacy, referrals, information, support, safety planning and shelter intake for people who are survivors of rape, incest and other forms of sexual assault.

Responsible for the control and extinction of fires in urban or wilderness areas.

Foster Adopt Connect provides training and support for foster, adoptive, and kinship families for the purpose of licensure and continuing parenting education. This can also include support groups for families within their system.

Provides free or reduced-cost mammograms, breast exams and pap tests for eligible Missouri women.

Provides gas service assistance. Funds can vary.

Congregate meal and home-delivery of hot meals at 12:00pm (Noon) Monday-Friday; microwaveable frozen meals are also available for evenings and weekends.

Vision screening and hearing screening is offered in the Elementary schools to Kindergarten, First and Third Graders as required, but at many schools is offered to all the students. CAPACITY No Restrictions

Prevention of Blindness: Provides eye care assistance for medically and financially eligible applicants. Services may include eye examinations, comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, surgery, hospitalization, glasses, glaucoma medications and artificial eyes. Also, provides free public eye screenings and comprehensive eye care to eligible applicants.

Provides smoke alarms installation to at-risk residents.

Provides support and education services to parents, families and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning and intersex persons.

Certified birth and death certificates can be obtained on a daily basis if the event happened in the State of Missouri.

Provides care and secure detention services for juveniles who have violated State or municipal ordinances.

Provides consumer-directed services for adults with disabilities, attendants assist with daily living activities.

Provides vocational evaluation services to determine appropriate vocational goals and identify barriers which may interfere with success. May include vocational counseling and exploration, testing, work samples, trial tours and community based assessment.

Provides complete range of library services which includes books, compact discs, dvd's, bookmobiles, etc., summer reading club, story time and various other programs for children.
