Our Community-Based Program matches youth with adult mentors who meet regularly in the community to build strong, consistent one-to-one relationships through shared activities and experiences. In addition, our School-Based Program is currently in a pilot phase, offering mentoring that takes place during the school day in a school setting, allowing us to expand access to mentorship and explore new ways to support youth where they already are.

Services offered through the Senior Centers include noon-time congregate meals, home-delivered meals to surrounding communities, social, recreational, and educational activities.

Provides in-home services for individuals who are disabled, elderly or convalescing from a medical condition: services provided include personal aide, LPN respite care, regular respite care, private duty nursing, and household chores.

Utility Assistance - Provides gas payment assistance to individuals in need.

Prescription Drug Program: Working with Rx Outreach provides a 90 to 180 day renewable prescription is submitted through our 143 participating parish conferences, based on prescriptions written by physician, clinic or hospital. Vouchers are mailed and Rx is mailed to clients.

Long Distance Medical Service: SMTS provides transportation to major medical facilities in St. Louis, Cape Girardeau and Springfield in Missouri and to Memphis Tennessee and Paragould Arkansas. Delivery of meals to frail, homebound elderly. Meals are generally frozen and 7 days of meals are delivered once a week. In some cases up to two meals per each day CAPACITY Through the use of frozen meals, can provide service for seven days a week and up to two meals per day.

Provides assistance to homeowners who need to report problems with their homeowner's insurance providers. Also provides assistance to people who need to report problems with their vehicle insurance providers.

Medicare is a federal medical program that provides health coverage for individuals age 65 and older or those with a disability.

Issues copies of birth certificates for the entire state of Missouri.

Provides special needs education and services to students through consultation, observations, screenings, and classroom support.

The MedZou clinic serves uninsured patients.

Primary care for every family member, services include treatment for high blood pressure.

Contracts with local artists to do art programs such as drama, painting, woodwork, etc.

Utility Assistance: Provides assistance to low-income individuals for propane, wood and natural gas assistance. Partial payments are made to avoid utility cut-offs.
