Founded in 2019, the BCI Skills Center is a first-of-its-kind vocational training facility for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment. The Skills Center co-creates its custom programs in partnership with local, inclusive-minded businesses. Upon graduating, students join the partner businesses where they work alongside non-disabled individuals while earning the same opportunities, responsibilities, benefits, and pay. Home Rehabilitation Program: Provides home grants for home repairs, rehabilitation, appraisals, lead inspections and flood letters to homeowners.

The Senior Companion Program provides meaningful volunteer opportunities to individuals age 55 years or older. Through home and community visits, Senior Companion volunteers help isolated and frail older adults maintain the highest possible level of independent living. Companions can provide short periods of relief (respite) to family caregivers, enabling them to take a break or run errands. This program keeps many older adults out of institutions and in touch with their community.

Family-centered services are provided to families and children in their own homes when a child abuse or neglect investigation/family assessment response determination is preponderance of evidence, unsubstantiated-preventive services indicated, or services needed. Services include a range of treatment and support services and are provided, as appropriate to the case treatment plan.

Accepts a variety of donations that are not in need of repair; donations are not sold as a way to earn money for the program; a donation pick-up service is not available.

The Winter Heating Energy Assistance Program (EA) runs from October - May and provides a one-time payment for assistance with winter heating costs for low-income households (based on household size and income). The Energy Crisis Intervention Program (ECIP) provides utility assistance and relief for eligible households to alleviate energy-related crises. The winter program runs from October - May and the summer cooling program runs from June - September.

Utility Assistance: Provides assistance to low-income individuals for propane, wood and natural gas assistance. Partial payments are made to avoid utility cut-offs.
