The purpose of the MO HealthNet program is to provide medical services to persons who meet certain eligibility requirements as determined by FSD. The goals of the MO HealthNet program are to promote good health, to prevent illness and premature death, to correct or limit disability, to treat illness, and to provide rehabilitation to persons with disabilities. Eligible persons receive a "MO HealthNet Identification Card" or a letter from the local FSD office. The Family Support Division (FSD) determines client eligibility for the MO HealthNet program: the MO HealthNet Division administers the MO HealthNet program including establishment of benefit coverage, rates, claims processing, and all other aspects of daily operations.

• Not on Tobacco (N.O.T.): Program for teens who are smokers and want to quit smoking using a group program.

• Freedom from Smoking: Provides a step-by-step plan for individuals to quit smoking either in a clinic setting or electronically online.

The Animal Care and Control Shelter: Provides shelter and veterinary care for stray or impounded animals.

Provides early childhood education program and includes the Full Start day case service before and after the Head Start classes.

Missouri Interpreter Certification System: Provides information regarding interpreters and referral agencies, evaluates and certifies interpreters, promotes and supports training and professional development of interpreters.

Nursing visits for health assessment and referral are provided two times a month or as needed to Greene County Jail inmates.
