The Division of Comprehensive Psychiatric Services divides Missouri into 25 service areas. Each area has a Community Mental Health Center which provides psychiatric services to individuals in need; and is designated as the division's Administrative Agent. These Administrative Agents serve as the primary entry and exit point for state mental health services.

Animal control department that offers rabies control surveillance.

Distributes home medical equipment, devices include, but are not limited to, manual/power wheelchairs and van lifts. Does not offer medications, orthopedic braces, tubing and masks for CPAPs and BiPaps.

Providing summer school program.

Provides healthy relationship workshops for new and expectant parents, singles or couples classes available.

Providing a cooling center during extreme heat temperatures.

Health screenings are provided for the following: Cardiovascular, Sexually Transmitted Diseases and HIV, Diabetes, Lead, and tuberculosis. Other screenings available upon request.

Accepts donations of baby furniture items.

Provides a wide range of public library services and collections.

Provides a meal in a group setting for senior citizens ages 60 years and older or persons 18-59 with disabilities. Contact NWAAA (660) 726-3800 or (888) 844-5626 for the nearest senior center in the area.

Offers paid internships for high-school youth. Internships consist of construction and job skills training.

Accepts a wide variety of donations that are not in need of repair; some donations are sold as a way to earn money for the programs; automobile donations are put up for bid; a pick-up service is available and usually takes from 2 days to 2 weeks, depending on the season.

Provides assistance and information to individuals with filing for unemployment benefits and understanding the process.

Helps individuals with disabilities find and keep good jobs; matches an employee with an employer in a mutually beneficial relationship.

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families: Provides benefits to families with needy children (due to death, desertion, mental, physical problems or unemployment).

Women are eligible for: Must be uninsured Approved methods of contraception STD testing and treatment, including pap tests and pelvic exams Family planning, counseling, and birth control education Drugs, supplies or devices for above services

Provides support and a safe space for individuals in crisis to get their immediate basic needs met.

Accepts donations of walking aids that are in good condition and not be in need of repair. Donations are not sold as a way to earn money for the program and a donation pick-up service is not available.

Maintains 83 state parks and historic sites which provide overnight camping, cabins, lodges, swimming, boating, fishing, tours, etc.

MoRx is a prescription drug program that provides additional assistance for prescription drug costs to Missourians in need.
