Emergency Help program provides crisis services to people in crisis. Contact over the phone is provided along with the option of a face-to-face follow up. Screening for emergency hospitalization is offered in a variety of public settings, including hospitals, the Health Department, the County Jail and local police departments.

With specially trained crisis counselors, we are available 24 hours per day to support and respond to you, your family and friends who are experiencing a mental health crisis. Centerstone's Crisis Call Center provides confidential, urgent mental health and crisis counseling by telephone, enhanced follow-up care, and resources for accessing needed services and support. We know that every crisis situation is unique, so when you call us, our counselors take the time to listen and determine the best course of action to help you or those you are concerned about.

General Crisis Intervention Hotlines
Provides immediate assistance to people who are emotionally distressed. The goal is to defuse the crisis, ensuring the person's safety and helping the person take next steps.
Crisis counselors provide assistance VIA TEXT ONLY to individuals who are experiencing a personal crisis through through active listening, empathy and collaborative problem-solving. An action plan is created based on the specific needs and crisis.

The free KUTO Crisis Helpline, (314/888) 644-5886 is staffed 24/7 by trained, youth friendly people prepared to help kids and youth de-escalate crisis, find a calm center and feel better able to cope through any crisis situation.
