Employment services provides supports to adults with disabilities to obtain and maintain competitive integrated jobs in in the community. Services may include discovery/exploration, job development/placement, on the job training, long-term retention supports and pre-vocational training.

Deaf & Hard of Hearing Employment: Provide comprehensive vocational evaluation and job placement services to individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as provide support and guidance regarding communication once the individual is employed.

Individuals with disabilities are provided with tools and supports for their individualized job search, includes skill-building in resumes and cover letters, application advice, job readiness training classes, mock interviews, and retention supports for their first 90 days of employment.

Training specialists work with indviduals with disabilities in the community through job development to secure employment and maintain employment long-term. Goal of program is to find a match with the indvidual and employer that is mutually beneficial. Also works with high schools in Cooper and Howard Counties to provide community employment services for high school seniors with developmental disabilities.

This program is called "Journey to Discovery". This program is designed to provide vocational programs in an integrated community setting serving groups and individual consumers with developmental disability with ongoing staff support.

Provides assistance with finding community based employment. The program offers training, internships, hand-on employment opportunities, and volunteering experiences.

Provides employment services for adults with disabilities through assessment, job development, job placement, on the job training, supported employment, school-to-work transition services and ticket to work.

Community Employment Services: Provides job placement, supported employment, job coaching services to persons with disabilities who want to work, job seeking skills training and job club.

Job Discovery: Offers opportunities for individuals with autism spectrum disorder to explore job skills, interests and strengths. This will be done through volunteer work, job exploration, job shadowing, informational interviewing, labor market research, exploration of job/work tasks and preparation of an employment plan.

Community Connections: Provides training in communication skills, positive behavior, daily living skills, following directions, focusing and completing tasks, small motor skill development, self-advocacy, assistive technology, computer skills, appropriate interactions getting along with supervisors and/or co-workers, social and problem solving skills, community and work safety, mobility, resume and portfolio development, interviewing skills, workplace attire, hygiene and self-care, focus and completion of tasks.

- Deaf & Hard of Hearing Employment: Provide comprehensive vocational evaluation and job placement services to individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as provide support and guidance regarding communication once the individual is employed. - Brain Injury Employment Program: Offers a supportive team including case manager and job developer that works in collaboration with an individual's support network such as occupational/physical/speech therapist and neuropsychologist to assist in obtaining and retaining successful employment.

Provides individuals with an intellectual disability support to obtain employment in a healthcare environment.

Prepares job seekers with disabilities for competition in the marketplace. We arm candidates with state-of-the-art job-search tools and give them the confidence they need to address issues specific to disability. - Capstone Course: Our ten-week course for individuals with college degrees or technical certifications has a record for success. Since 2012, 85 percent of those who completed the course have advanced on their career paths. The participation of many partners allows us to offer one of the best job-preparation classes available anywhere. teach students about applications, resumes, and interviews. Our participants learn directly from the people who hire. Other professionals talk about issues specific to disability like laws related to disability employment, accommodations, and strategies for disability disclosure.
