The J welcomes and invites all persons, including those with disabilities, to participate in its camps and other programs. Program participation is based upon an appropriate match between the individual and a particular program. Where feasible and suitable, the J provides necessary supports, including individualized programming. The Life Enrichment program (formally Inclusion) provides the opportunity for children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to participate in camp alongside their typically developing peers. Our goal is to include all campers. In order to best assess if a child is a good fit for our program, families must participate in an intake process.

UCP Heartland Adult Day Services: Provides a variety of health, social and support services. Clients receive individualized assistance with a variety of skills (social, learning, daily living, cognitive, adaptive) that foster a greater level of independence, focusing on choice and interest for each individual. The Gibbs Center offers highly trained staff and a registered nurse on duty throughout the day. With modified agency-owned vans, the program offers choices to clients, including outings into the community. The Gibbs Center has strong partnerships with businesses in the metro area to provide a network of assistance.

This program is called "Community Integration". It is designed to assist consumers with developmental disabilities to access their community while fostering the acquisition of skills, greater independence, and personal choice. These services are offered in groups to allow the teaching of social skills in the real world with peers. It is also offered in on-on-one settings.
