Residents of Long Term Care facilities benefit through trusting relationships with trained volunteers who are well informed and objective. They also listen to concerns, and respect residents' privacy and confidentiality.

Ombudsman Program: Consists of trained staff and volunteer ombudsmen who are assigned to long-term care communities (including skilled nursing, assisted living and residential care communities) and provide advocacy, support and resident rights education to residents.
