The Department of Mental Health mission is prevention, treatment, and promotion of public understanding for Missourians with mental illnesses, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders. A community mental health agency providing services such as psychiatric rehabilitation, in person crisis intervention, administrative entity, emergency preparedness and response training, and general, group and individual counseling.
