1. Agencies must serve children ages 0-19 years in St. Charles County who have mental health, substance abuse and prevention needs. 2. Be registered in the State of Missouri as a not-for-profit or governmental agency and classified as being in good standing. 3. Submit the agency’s most recent annual independent financial audit. 4. Must receive at least fifty percent (50%) of its agency funds from sources other than funds distributed by the CCRB. with no more than one-half (1/2) of these other sources being contributions of goods or services, including materials, commodities, transportation, office space or other types of facilities or personal services. 5. Provide a program that impacts children’s mental health, outpatient children’s substance abuse treatment, and/or the prevention of child abuse and neglect services. The CCRB oversees the administration and distribution of the Children’s Community Services Fund, which is funded through a 1/8 cent sales tax. The CCRB has a 12-month funding cycle begins July 1 and ends on June 30. It operates on a fee-for-service reimbursement model, which differs from foundation grants.
