-Eligible tenant is a tenant of a rental unit located in St. Louis City who is forced to relocate due to condemnation by the City, for occupancy of such dwelling unit due to the landlord's failure to maintain the rental unit in conformance with code requirements. The condemnation must have occurred on or after Jan 1. 2025. OR -Due to residential property destroyed by an Act of God of such magnitude as to activate City Emergency Management which results in the structure being unoccupied or unihabitable. May 16th tornado qualifies for this. -Eligible tenants whose name(s) are listed on current lease -Eligible tenants who prior to 5/16/25 were living in zip codes along the tornado's path. Eligible zip codes are: 63107, 63108, 63110, 63112, 63113, 63115, 63120, 63130 or 63147.
Applicants must be able to provide BOTH of the following documents: -A lease that was current at the time of the May 16th tornado, signed by the applicant for the unit that has been impacted or condemned -Valid Photo ID, Passport, Driver's License or other municipal/state identification In addition, applicant must also be able to provide ONE of the following documents with name of applicant and address of impacted unit: -Utility bill from the impacted unit and dated prior to the qualifying event -Official Government issues mail (unemployment letter, social security letter, food/cash assistance award letter, etc.) dated within the last 90 days -Voter Registration Card -Current Bank Statement
