Eligibility

  • Must be senior age 62 years and older
  • Must be disabled
  • Must have a child who has asthma
  • Must have Ameren service
  • Must be at or under 50% of the average median income
  • Must be a resident of St. Charles, Lincoln and/or Warren for six months and be able to verify residency
-Must NOT have received an air conditioner from The Care Service in the past three years

Required documents

  • Documented disability/receiving social security
  • Doctor letter showing child has asthma
  • Social Security Cards for everyone in the household
  • Proof of residency
  • Drivers license or picture ID for everyone age 18 years and older in the household

Services include: Food Pantries, Rent Payment Assistance, Mortgage Payment Assistance, Electric Service Payment Assistance, Gas Service Payment Assistance, Water Service Payment Assistance, Case/Care Management, and Street Outreach services.
