Eligibility

Winter Heating Program (October 1 through May 1): Must meet income guidelines, have a shutoff notice on your gas or electric. If propane user, must be down to 20% or less in tank and be on a "cash only" basis. Summer Cooling Program (June 1 through September 30): Must meet income guidelines, must have shutoff notice on your electric. This program is for electric only..

The Delta Area Economic Opportunity Corporation (DAEOC) is a private, not-for-profit organization governed by a local tri-partite board. The board is composed of eighteen persons from Dunklin, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, Scott, and Stoddard counties in the Bootheel. The board consists of equal numbers of private sector, public sector, and low-income representatives. This organizational structure brings together local community leaders from each of the representative groups to respond to specific community needs.
