Picture ID, Social Security Card, Proof Of Address (dated within 60 days) with the head of household's name and address on it

Call the Social Services office - 417-862-5509, ext108 - at 8:30am on the first working day of the month if it is not on the weekend or Wednesday if it is, call the next working day. An appointment will be set up to come in that week or the next week if rental assistance is available Can call during the fourth week of the month to learn the following month's schedule.

Services include food pantry, child and adult care food program, congregate meals/nutrition site, summer food service program, extreme weather shelter, rent payment assistance, transitional housing/shelter, school supplies, prescription expense assistance, family support center/outreach, Christmas baskets, Christmas meals, Thanksgiving meals, day camps, youth enrichment programs, recovery home/halfway house, senior center, extreme heat cooling center, and extreme cold warming center.
