Age 60 years and older with a limited annual income ($14,079 for a household of 1, or $18,941 for a household of 2)

Application process

Must be able to come in person to pick up box, may bring someone with to carry as the box weighs approximately 25 lbs. Register at Good Samaritan Emergency Resources, 1811 Historic Rt. 66, Waynesville - 9:00am to 5:00pm There are a limited number of boxes available, come early on distribution days to pick up available boxes.

Assists people with emergency physical needs by operating a domestic violence shelter, thrift stores, food pantry and Emergency Services. Services include brown bag food program, commodity supplement food program, food pan tries, general furniture provision, general clothing provision, personal/grooming supplies, walking aids, wheelchairs/wheeled mobility, assistance technology equipment load, medical equipment/supplies, Christmas baskets, Thanksgiving baskets, holiday adoption program, holiday gifts/toys and food donation program.
