Addresses and works to alleviate the causes and conditions of poverty in ten counties in Southwest Missouri by providing several services for income-eligible families. Services include Section 8 housing choice vouchers, school supplies, and community action agency services. The Winter Heating Energy Assistance Program provides heating assistance and Energy Crisis Intervention Program provides utility assistance and relief for eligible households to alleviate energy-related crises.
