BAILS can help you obtain an amplified phone, one with large numbers, one that operates using just a breathe of air, TTY machines for those who have a severe hearing impairment, signaling devices that let you know when a call is coming in, and several combinations of all the above.

Older Blind Services: Provides low tech equipment for persons who are low vision to enable them to remain living independently in their own home. Items purchased for individuals include (talking watches, talking clocks, low vision exams, etc).

Missouri Assistive Technology operates the Equipment Technology Consortium (ETC) which is a short-term assistive technology equipment loan program for school districts and agencies in Missouri. Districts or agencies can borrow equipment on behalf of individuals with disabilities to try out the equipment before purchasing, for use during the time equipment is in repair, or for other short-term needs. Districts or agencies can borrow equipment for up to six weeks. The program includes a wide range of equipment including switches and mounts, computer access devices, environmental controls, hearing devices, home modifications, visual aids and augmentative communication devices. Product demonstrations are given for proper use of equipment.
